MUSIC BOOKS: 'Basses' book ready in Jan.

York-based guitar teacher and bassist Rod Goelz is set to release the fifth book in his "Basses Loaded" instructional series in January.

"Volume Four — Groove Workshop: R&B, Funk & Motown," will be published by Santorella Publications. The "Basses Loaded" series includes "Primer: Quick Start Bass for Beginners," "Volume One: Essential Tools," "Volume Two: Rock Edition," and "Volume Three: Blues Edition." Goelz earned a bachelor's degree in Music Industry Studies at Millersville University and is a guitar teacher at Campbell's Music Service in York Township.
